Assistant Facilities Manager

Our client, one of Ireland’s leading facility companies, is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager in Dublin. You are responsible for leading the delivery of all operational activity within a cluster/satellite location through a team self-perform staff and supply partners



€45,000 - €55,000



  • Supporting the Senior Facilities Manager and cover when needed
  • Be the initial interface for key business contacts at the assigned site
  • Manage direct reporting staff, and lead building facilities teams and supply partners
  • Ensure that all health & safety and environmental requirements are in place
  • Support the implementation of continuous improvement activities and initiatives
  • Responsible for the management of the Service Insight work order system, ensuring requests and resultant action is assigned is acted upon within the KPI targets
  • Prepare reports and analyse the results based on data. 
  • Prepare information to be rendered in the KPIs and BUG meetings
  • Coordinate and participate in workplace moves and changes within the office space area, including porterage requests
  • Through regular workplace inspections review office spaces paying especial attention to any QHSE issues and checking meeting rooms, providing first fix audio-visual assistance
  • Report all incidents, occupational illnesses and emergencies.
  • Ensure all contractors in sphere of control operate within QHSE processes and standards
  • Adhere to and promote working to the companies QHSE policy
  • Coordinate with suppliers to deliver services at site
  • Participate in effective supplier KPI review meetings
  • Report shortcomings affecting the guest experience to appropriate line managers
  • Ensure prompt and seamless handover of information and special requests


  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a facilities or service environment supervisory role
  • Must be customer service focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • IOSH or equivalent H&S training
  • Experience in managing PPM and reactive work orders in a CMMS
  • Experience in Service Insight CMMS system or similar an advantage
  • Experience in contract management and measurement
  • Good skills in MS Office
