Accounts Assistant

Our client, a successful entrepreneur, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to support the Director and Company Secretary in the bookkeeping, accounting, and administration of 2 investment entities and a property portfolio.

Hybrid: 2/3 Days from Home

Office Location: Terenure


Dublin South





  • Daily bank account reconciliation
  • Oversight of excel accounts ledger and budgeting/forecasting for each property entities
  • Collation of expenditure and documentation for tax and VAT compliance purposes
  • Preparing property-related documents, briefings and reports
  • Preparation and filing of tenant rent, licence, and fee invoices
  • Diary and workflow - arranging calls and meetings
  • Liaise with external parties in relation to property management to include tenants, banks, legal, accountants, statutory bodies, architects, building contractors, estate agents, utilities, and property management companies


  • Minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience
  • Advanced MS Office and IT skills are essential (OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • QuickBooks or similar accounting system
  • Self-starter with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure, whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer/business focused ethos
