Commercial Accountant

  • Support the finance business partner with the annual budget process, incorporating input from all key business functions, and aligning same with the business strategies
  • Help develop and implement new and best practice financial forecasting, planning and budgeting processes
  • Provide insight into the monthly financial reports and partner with financial operations to ensure alignment with budget and forecast
  • Analyse business trends, and track key performance indicators
  • Work with the sales team to develop new pricing options, and provide impact assessment of same
  • Performs customer and product profitability analysis
  • Creates financial models and scenarios as a key input for business planning decisions
  • Proactively analyse business and market trends to provide insights for senior leadership team, to include key competitor analysis
  • Provide weekly flash forecasts to the business on performance versus budget/forecast
  • Develop and manage a suite of BI reports to aid in analysis
  • Present key findings to the business on a regular basis


  • Newly qualified or part qualified accountant
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
  • Good team player with experience in managing a small team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Track record of process improvements
  • Ability to work in a busy environment
