Senior Relationship Manager

Priority Placements have been retained by a successful insurance broker to source a Senior Relationship Manager for their Life and Pensions team

Dublin City Centre





  • Support the company to achieve its overall financial plan including income and sales targets by maximising business income and product sales.
  • Develop a weekly/monthly activity plan to achieve business objectives including targets for lead generation, proactive calls, customer sales and advisory meetings and meetings for sales and service fulfilment.
  • Deliver on quality engagement and results by being fully prepared for meetings with customers , achieving high quality engagement and conversion to sales
  • Deliver quality, compliant new business packs  to colleagues – fact find, reasons why, proposals and all other documents
  • Actively manage the review lists to ensure that all clients are contacted annually
  • Monitor the targets for new business
  • Seek out opportunities to create additional value for the customer and the company by developing the most appropriate/pioneering and compliant solutions to meet customers’ underlying needs. 
  • Strengthen and develop relationships through well-planned regular contact to enhance the customer relationship
  • Deal with any issues that customers may have with queries, quotes etc.
  • Deliver the agreed standards of customer service in all your dealings with external and internal customers with emphasis on delivering quality customer service
  • Support the promotion of good communication and people management practices, provide clear objectives and support the drive for high performance
  • Ensure that you are MCC compliant and comply with the need to maintain CPD hours.
  • Ensure that you are aware of their obligations under Data Protection legislation
  • Monitor new business compliance quarterly to ensure files are complete and up to date -  provide a report to Compliance by the 2nd week of every quarter


  • Qualified QFA
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a financial or life & pensions business development role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills while delivering a professional service to customers
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
