Employment Tax Senior/Assistant Manager


Our client, a Big 4 firm, is seeking an Employment Tax Senior/Assistant Manager to join their People and Organisation Tax Team

The team helps large corporate employers stay ahead of tax and regulatory changes that impact their businesses and their workforces.

Clients range from multinational organisations and public sector bodies to entrepreneurs and family businesses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working on a challenging, evolving and varied client portfolio, with excellent opportunities to develop into the management of your own portfolio. 

  • Assisting in the ongoing management of client relationships by direct day to day contact with key clients, including business development and participating in various consultancy projects.

  • Working collaboratively with teams, reporting to experienced managers, senior managers, directors and partners.

  • Embracing the digital transformation being undertaken in our business and being motivated to drive innovation further in our day-to-day business and that of our clients.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years’ relevant experience. 

  • Strong academic record

  • Recently AITI/CTA qualified or with no more than 1 set of exams to complete 

  • Enthusiasm to work with our broad range of clients, to understand their businesses and work with them to address and manage obligations and risk

  • Desire to learn and to apply the knowledge you gain from the regular training sessions we hold on topics that will impact our clients’ businesses

  • Business Acumen, using a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the market and utilise this information to assist our clients in making innovative business decisions.

  • Relationship management, demonstrating an ability to read situations and modify behaviour to build quality, diverse relationships.

  • Creativity, demonstrating an ability to contribute to new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems. 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Enthusiastic team player with a passion to coach and encourage others to achieve their potential.

  • Ambitious, with a strong commitment to personal learning and development.
