Tax Senior/Assistant Manager - PLCs


Our client, a Big 4 firm, is seeking a Tax Senior/Assistant Manager to join their Corporate Tax PLC team based in Dublin. Hybrid.

There will be learning and opportunities to assist you in developing your career. You will work with some of the best Corporate Tax professionals both in Ireland but also within their global network giving you a unique opportunity to collaborate with colleagues around the world and work not only on Irish tax issues but also on transactions spanning international borders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working on a challenging, evolving and varied client portfolio, with excellent opportunities to develop into the management of your own portfolio. 

  • Advise clients on business structuring, mergers and acquisitions, cross border expansion, financing, tax audits etc.

  • Co-ordinate advice from foreign offices on cross-border matters

  • Embracing the digital transformation being undertaken in our business. Being motivated to familiarise yourself with these evolutions and to drive these technologies further in our day-to-day business and that of our clients.

  • Assisting in the ongoing management of client relationships, business development and participating in various consultancy projects.

  • Utilising the flexible working environment with efficient management of personal assignments, while reporting to a team of experienced senior managers, directors and partners.

REQUIREMENTS

  • AITI qualified / part-qualified with 1-2 years’ relevant Corporate Tax experience.

  • Effective working knowledge of Corporation Tax in Ireland or internationally.

  • Enthusiasm to work with our broad range of clients, to understand their businesses and work with them to address and manage risk.

  • Desire to learn and to apply the knowledge you gain from the regular training sessions we hold on topics that will impact our clients’ businesses 

  • Business Acumen - use a wide selection of tools and techniques to extract insights from current trends in the market and utilise this information to assist your clients in making innovative business decisions.

  • Relationship management - ability to read situations and modify behaviour to build quality, diverse relationships.

  • Creative - demonstrate an ability to contribute to new ideas and propose innovative solutions to problems. 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
